According to some, less megapixels means lower noise, and the low light capability of the a7sIII makes it one of the best for astrophotography. I have heard the sensor has improved considerably since the SII. So if image quality is top priority, go full frame and try and stretch to a7iii for the much improved AF and battery life. The a6400 with that good sigma glass (the 56 is stellar) is also an excellent choice if you can’t stretch, I personally wouldn’t get the a7ii over it unless you’re very much set on full frame. I think the a6400 would be better, since it has better autofocus and can shoot 11fps instead of 5fps of the a7ii. If you really want IBIS, you should go with the a7ii, but if you’re mainly taking pictures of cars, I think the better AF and the faster shutter is suitable for your needs.
